The short answer

The BMW iX3 adds the most range in a 10-minute stop, about 145 miles. The Porsche Taycan has the fastest measured session, 17 minutes from 10 to 80 percent.

Under $40,000, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 charges fastest, and the $27,600 Chevrolet Bolt beats a Tesla Model Y.
