A GT From the Future: Kia’s Vision Meta Turismo

Some concept cars hint at what’s next. The Vision Meta Turismo makes that intention clear. Created to celebrate Kia’s 80th anniversary, the concept presents a smooth, futuristic form with sharp, confident lines.
Its long silhouette and jet-inspired canopy give it the look of a modern grand tourer built for a different era.

Inside, the design steps away from traditional interiors. A yoke-style steering wheel replaces the familiar round wheel. The dashboard gives way to smart glass and an augmented reality display, while cameras stand in for side mirrors. The space feels more like a focused cockpit than a typical car interior, emphasizing experience over convention.

There are subtle references to classic grand tourers in its proportions, but the Vision Meta Turismo is firmly rooted in the electric age. Rather than showcasing performance figures or technical specifications, it explores how design, interface, and movement might evolve together.
As a concept, it is less about forecasting a production model and more about expressing direction. It offers a glimpse into how Kia is thinking about the future of driving, where form, technology, and restraint are meant to work in quiet balance.
