Subaru has introduced its latest electric vehicle, the 2026 Uncharted, a compact crossover aimed at the growing segment of urban EV buyers.
Built on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform, the Uncharted shares underpinnings with models like the Toyota C-HR Electric, marking Subaru’s continued reliance on its partnership with Toyota for electrification.

Key Specs
The Uncharted will come in both front-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants.
- FWD model: 221 horsepower, estimated range of over 300 miles
- AWD Sport and GT trims: 338 horsepower, ~290 miles of range, 0–60 mph in under 5 seconds
- Battery: 74.7 kWh
- Charging: 150 kW DC fast charging, 10–80% in approximately 30 minutes
- Charging standard: NACS connector for access to Tesla Superchargers

- Hyundai Kona Electric
- Chevrolet Equinox EV
- Kia EV5
- Toyota bZ4X (with which it shares much of its architecture)
Subaru has not released pricing, but it is expected to target the mid-$40,000 range, depending on drivetrain and trim.
