Longbow was just announced as a new British EV maker, formed by ex-engineers that had worked at Lucid and Tesla.

Inspired by the golden age of British sports cars, the Longbow Speedster & Roadster are redefining lightweight performance in the electric era.
Stripped down to the essentials, these featherweight EVs embrace purity and speed, with a single 322-horsepower motor driving the rear wheels.

The Speedster, a minimalist thrill machine, tips the scales at just 1,973 pounds, rocketing from 0 to 62 mph in a blistering 3.5 seconds.
Opting for the Roadster adds a roof and a mere 200 pounds, nudging the sprint to 3.6 seconds while subtly improving aerodynamics, extending the range from 275 to 280 miles.

Built on a bespoke aluminum chassis, both models offer an intoxicating blend of tradition and cutting-edge engineering. Available to reserve now, the first deliveries are set for 2026—ushering in a new era of uncompromising open-air motoring.
Starting at $84,000, here’s hoping these lightweight, exciting EVs help introduce a new standard for electric sports cars.
