There are not many choices in the world of automobiles that are both electric and convertibles. Cadillac wants to change that, and their lovely Sollei concept demonstrates it, with a long and low EV dressed in Manila Cream yellow paint.

The lovely bodywork also showcases a bespoke interior, with dramatic wood appointments on the seat backs and doors, as well as the center console. The multiple wood grains and artistic fittings are reminiscent of handcrafted boats.
We’ve been told the interior also features a ‘mushroom leather’, which is possibly the first in the industry to do so.
By going way, way upmarket, Cadillac is able to show us their design chops, which feature graceful lines and artistic details that mass market vehicles simply can’t have.
Borrowing the ‘wall-to-wall’ curved display that the upcoming Escalade IQ uses, the Sollei will feature all manner of high-tech options, in addition to the hand-built details.

We don’t see this butter-yellow color very often, and we find it pretty fitting for this luxurious convertible, and appreciate the drive model wearing a color-coordinating look.

Essentially a drop-top version of their Celestiq high-end sedan, we imagine the Cadillac Sollei will be similarly low volume and highly priced, starting at $300,000.
Still a concept, though it could potentially enter limited production in 2026 or 2027.
